Bo's Sports Bar
Owned and operated by Missy and Jenny, alongside an incredible staff, Bo’s Sports Bar is the "Cheers" of Waterdown. It’s not just a bar—it’s an institution. The décor is eccentric and a museum of nostalgic sports memorabilia. The bar staff are part-time therapists, full-time keg changers, and experts in side-eye. They know your drink before you ask, and if it’s your birthday, they’ll light their signature “Russian Roulette Shot” on fire—seriously. The food is legendary, with awards to prove it. Year-over-year Flamborough Review People’s Choice winner for Best Hot Dog. Eat your heart out, Canadian Tire hot dog stand. The wings are fantastic, the burgers are huge and the nachos are so large they have their own postal code. The two-loonie pool table provides the perfect mix of competition and banter. They’ll even open the table to children for free play—and if you act like a child, they’ll open it for adults, too. You come for the drinks, stay for some laughs and you’ll love it.
Watermark Taphouse & Grille
The Watermark Taphouse and Grille seasonally features fresh, local ingredients and house-smoked meats, putting a tasty twist on classic pub favorites. The very talented Chef Dan Alexopoulos brings a Canadian spin to a California-meets-Southern smokehouse fusion—basically, an elevated take on gastropub cuisine, executed flawlessly. Right when you walk in, you’ll notice the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect mix of cozy and stylish—great for a casual dinner or a fun night out with friends in the lounge. It’s a family-owned and operated spot (Missy’s family, specifically), and run by fantastic people who make you feel like you’re part of the family.
Borer's Falls
A frequent stop we have made on every motorcycle excursion with Missy, my Dad and many friends. It's basically the mini Niagara Falls with free parking. Not an easy find, however, if you get the chance to see it in person, you will understand the effort is worth it!
Corn Beef Hut
The Corn Beef Hut has been a Burlington staple for years. Nick's favourite lunch spot since he has lived in the area. If you are craving a quick sandwich to go, they sell the best $6 Bahn Mi this side of Vietnam. Family owned and operated by the most adorable couple who will always make you feel welcome and loved.
