Learn how ice cream is made, sit in a milk truck, milk mechanical cows, and learn about the people and culture of Turkey Hill Dairy. You get to make your own ice cream flavors in the Turkey Hill Taste Lab and taste teas from around the world! Located on the Susquehanna River, Shank’s Mare Outfitters specializes in sales and rentals of recreational, touring, and fishing kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and hiking gear. The Shank’s Mare Outdoor Education Center offers paddlesports instruction, tours and trips, and group guided outings. There is also a cafe here with food, coffee, and ice cream.
Come for the fresh produce and donuts, stay for the wine and cider. Visit the farm market, orchards, and tasting room. There’s plenty for everyone to do here!
