Nick and Megan first met somewhere you normally don't find the person you're going to marry, a fire station in Placitas, NM. They both showed up for orientation for their first (but not last) fire academy. Throughout their time in the academy they became close friends, learning the basics of firefighting. They bonded over early morning exercises and the beginning of their friendship was spent tired and sore. They grew even closer when they were both scolded for Megan calling “Fojud where you at?” over a county wide radio system. They never knew the beginning of their new careers would also be the beginning of their love story. Throughout the next five years they learned what being soul mates really looked like. From supporting each other through the purchase of their first homes, to early mornings and late nights while they both decided to further their education. They explored together along side their friends, family, and dogs till one snowy day in the mountains of Telluride, Nick got down on one knee and purposed. With two sniffling noses, surround by mountains and snow Megan said yes! Since then they've been planning their next steps in life together and are very fortunate to have family and friends around to celebrate them on their wedding night. It will be a night to remember and they are excited to see each and everyone of you there!
