2022 was one for the books! While Marissa was busy studying at MSU, she got the chance to spend six months in St. Louis for an internship. Little did she know, Missouri wasn’t just about career moves—it was about meeting Nick. Their love story kicked off in June thanks to Hinge, and their first date was anything but ordinary. What started as a friendly round of mini golf turned into a full-blown adventure-batting cages, a dinner date, and a night at the carnival. But Nick wasn’t ready to say goodnight just yet. Before dropping Marissa off, he asked her to go to a St. Louis Cardinals game the next morning. She said yes, and that day sealed the deal! For the past three years, they've navigated the highs and lows of long distance, planning trips and discovering new places together. Then, in January 2025, Nick popped the big question (spoiler alert: she said yes!).
