Nick and Maddison met like many couples these days, online. They chatted for a few days before willingly meeting up at Abrusci's Woodfired pizza for their first date. Nick commented on Maddison's subaru and asked if she liked it and Maddison realized Nick had his dogs in his car waiting for him. Maddison soon realized that the pups go everywhere. Nick ate mushrooms on his pizza for Maddison that night and the rest is history! Nick and Maddison have a love of fly fishing and binging many hours of Netflix together with their two dogs, Pepper and Lyra. They love cooking and listening to music and just being together. They are so beyond excited to spend this weekend with all their loved ones, be on the river and enjoy the fall colors with you all!

It was just a typical Wednesday evening, except it was during quarantine and we were getting ready for bed. Nick had taken the dogs out for their last call and had come back into our bedroom. He came and knelt down next to Maddison's side of the bed and told her to "put your hands out and close your eyes..." Maddison had no idea what was going on and thought he was just being weird, until she felt a cold metal slip onto her ring finger and she opened her eyes. Nick then smiled and asked the question "Will you marry me?" Maddison was shocked and started laughing and asked if he was serious and then said "Yes!"
