Is the ceremony / reception outside?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, followed by dinner inside, then back outside for dancing. (Weather permitting) Please bring layers accordingly!

Will there be somewhere to put my coat?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrive at the base of the Tram (near the California lodge) at 3:45 to allow time for everyone to get transported up the mountain. The ceremony will begin at 4:30.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes - there is parking at the base of the tram and you can leave your vehicle during the event and overnight. We will also provide shuttles to Stateline after the event.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will not be transportation to the base of the tram due to traffic restrictions but we will provide shuttles to Stateline after the event. You can leave a car overnight in the parking lot. Shuttles will run from 10:30 - 12 and the drop off location will be in front of Margaritaville at the bus drop off.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please dress in Semi Formal cocktail attire such as a midi dress or a suit. We recommend bringing layers and coats (perhaps even comfortable dancing shoes) - we will provide coat racks. Please also note the ground is a bit uneven and we will be on a mountain so I'd recommend block heels, dressy sandals, or wedges instead of stilettos. We don't have a color scheme and won't be offended if you wear black or red (but please no white besides dress shirts). Will the tram run all night?

Answer

The tram will be on standby so if you need to leave early to tuck your kid into bed the tram can take you down at any point in the night.
