Our story

So… We’re eloping.. but first let’s explain how we got there. Eleven years ago we met as kids through family connections. Summers spent riding atv’s, Liz always riding with Nick. Colder days were spent hanging out together with friends and family. Very quickly both developed secret crushes and admired the other person’s character and personality. Despite this, neither one acted on these feelings. Slowly they drifted apart until two years ago when Nick reappeared at Liz’s family cookout in true style on his motorcycle. You might think that’s the point the guy gets the girl but oh no. See Liz is somewhat of a safety specialist and also oblivious to any moves by the male species. So when he finally, after almost a decade of building up the courage, asked if she’d join him on a ride, she of course said “no, I don’t have my helmet”. You’d think him offering his own would help her get a clue but that notion flew right over her head. By the grace of God, Nick didn’t loose hope and a week later he asked her on a proper date. It was after that date Liz knew he was the one she was going to marry. A month later they became an official couple and spent almost every spare moment enjoying each other’s company. The first year was full of new adventures, laughter, growth, love, and the understanding that they were meant to spend their lives together. On December 24, 2025 Nick pulled off the ultimate surprised and asked Liz to marry him atop the Prudential center overlooking the city lights of Boston, a city very near and dear to their hearts as so many early memories were spent along the sidewalks. So why elope? Our favorite thing is enjoying the quiet company of each other and feel the most important day of our lives should reflect who we are as individuals and a couple. This is a moment we will only experience once and wish to be as present as possible to fully enjoy this momentous occasion. We will say I do in company of each other and God on August 20, 2025. We will have all of our loved ones in our hearts as we say I do and promise to get plenty of photos to capture the moment. Thank you for all of the love, guidance, and support you have shown us through the years. We are so excited for the future and what it will bring.
