Travel Note
Aegina Island (sometimes spelled Egina on some American websites) is the closest Island to Athens, with ferries coming and going between the island and Athens Piraeus port almost every hour; you can even bring a car on the ferry if you wish. You can easily get to the Athens Pireaus port from the Athen Airport to board a ferry. You can purchase tickets in advance or at the port. Ferry Hopper and Ferry Scanner are country wide ferry booking site; not just limited to Aegina or Athens. You will most likely want to travel from Athens Pireaus Port (unless you’re traveling from a different part of Greece) to Aegina. https://www.ferryhopper.com/ https://www.ferryscanner.com/en/ferry
