Casual attire - it will most likely be a hot day in August, but could be a little brisk on the river in the evening.
For those of you coming to town on Friday, we are planning on taking a cruise on the St Croix River on a public boat from 6:00PM - 8:00PM (arrive at 5:15pm), which also provides dinner. Tickets can be purchased on the "Stillwater River Boats" website, located in Stillwater MN. We’re planning a relaxed, outdoor celebration, so think dressy casual. For women: Sundresses, skirts, or nice jeans paired with a dressy top are perfect. For men: Casual pants with a button-down long or short sleeve shirt work great. Since the event will take place on grass, we recommend wearing comfortable, lawn-friendly shoes (flats, wedges, boots, or dress shoes you don’t mind being outdoors).
There will be appetizers, wood fired pizza, dessert and drinks. Parking will be available on the premises for those of you driving. Ubers/taxis can be reserved for the return trip to your respective hotel, or back to Stillwater where we plan on extending the party.
