COVID-19

We are doing our best to maximize the safety of our guests. Please do not feel pressured to attend our wedding or reception if you are not comfortable with the guidelines below. The safety and comfort of our guests comes first. If there is any part of our wedding day that you do not feel comfortable attending, please let us know. We ask that our guests who choose to attend take precautions to ensure their health leading up to the wedding. If you are not feeling well, please plan to stay home for the safety of other guests. If you have already sent in your RSVP and have changed your mind about attending, please let us know as soon as possible. For any additional questions, feel free to reach out to us.
Question

Has the schedule for the wedding changed as a result of COVID-19?

Answer

At this point in time, we are still planning to move forward with our wedding and reception on August 15, 2020.

Question

How many people will be at the wedding?

Answer

Due to restrictions with COVID-19, the venues for both our ceremony and reception are limited to 50% capacity. If you have not already sent in your RSVP, please do so as soon as possible so we can determine our final guest count. For those who are comfortable attending, we plan to host our wedding and reception with as many people possible given the guidelines and depending on the environment in August.

Question

Will masks be required?

Answer

As instructed by our venues, masks will be required for all guests during the wedding ceremony. Please bring your own mask if possible. We will have a limited supply available for those that need one. For the reception, we ask that all guests wear masks when they are not seated at their assigned tables. There will also be additional masks available at the reception.

Question

What other precautions will be taken?

Answer

At the ceremony, there will be assigned seating for all guests that choose to attend. There will be empty rows in between each seated row of guests. For the reception, we will have hand sanitizer readily available for our guests. Seating will be assigned and tables will be spaced apart to allow for social distancing. All food will be plated or served to you directly by the staff at the Madison. All staff members will be wearing masks and gloves during the reception.

Question

Will there be dancing at the reception?

Answer

At this point in time, we are planning to have a dance floor at our reception. We ask that everyone who chooses to take part in the dancing wear masks when on the dance floor. Please do not feel pressured to join the dance floor if you are not comfortable.
