Question

How do we get around Barbados?

Answer

The local bus service is reliable and the closest bus stop is a five-minute walk from the hotel. It’s a five-minute stroll to either St. Lawrence Gap or Oistins. A complimentary shuttle to Bridgetown is available Monday through Saturday. Taxi fare to the Gap is about $10; to the airport, about $20.

Question

Is there a happy hour at the resort?

Answer

Slip into a chair on the dry side of the pool bar or swim up and enjoy a fruity signature cocktail like the “Bougainvillea Breeze,” Bajan rum punch, or a local Banks beer. The pool bar is open all day and evening, with a 2-for-1 happy hour each afternoon between 3:30 and 4:30. Open from 10:00am to 10:45pm daily.

Question

Where to eat?

Answer

Barbados is the culinary capital of the Caribbean! The diversity of culinary masterpieces on this island range from tiny rum shops to elegant 5 star eateries. The love of food and rum is so deep, make sure to indulge as much as you can! Aside from all of the local places you can try, there are two restaurants right at the resort. The Siam Restaurant is quietly tucked away on the East side of the resort. Siam’s menu is carefully crafted and Thai inspired.. and where our reception will be! Bougainvillea’s other restaurant is the Calabash Cafe. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, their restaurant is as famous for its breathtaking South Coast ocean views as it is for its tantalizing cuisine highlighting international dishes as the local flavors of Barbados.
