Lexi and Nick met at Roundup Lake Campground, Nick was a grounds keeper at the time and Lexi was a good looking lady with a cute dog. Nick knew he was in trouble the moment Lexi responded to his cringey but cute Instagram dm about her dog Luna. From that dm their friendship instantly blossomed and before he knew it he was staying at the campground far past the end of his shift. The crisp fall nights around the fire helped ignite the flames of love these two would quickly realize were undeniable. Unfortunately camp closes and their time together was dwindling down but it just so happened that they were both attending The University of Akron and had class in the same building. The love birds were then meeting up on campus to get a bite to eat, do homework or just say hi to each other. Before she knew it she was head over heels for him and not just for his height and charming demeanor. Lexi knew if he didn’t make it official soon she was gonna get her heartbroken so she does what every other woman does and she subtly tells him to ask her out. That does not work though so Lexi does the next best thing she blocks him for a full day. He finds a way to get in contact though and shows up to where she is working and Nick finally after 9 months asks her to be his girlfriend

Lexi was told by a friend, that she won a free camera lens and that she needed Lexi and 2 of their other friends to take a photoshoot with their boyfriends. Her friends even suggested that she brings her dogs so Lexi was sold. Nick had arranged this all so perfectly so that she wouldn’t be suspicious about the random photoshoot. Nick really thought Lexi knew what was going on when she mentioned that she hopes the dogs would have special bandanas with a special question but in reality Lexi had absolutely zero idea Nick was planning on proposing or that the photoshoot with friends was fake. Lexi was turned toward the camera and was told Nick was to run behind her and hug her, but then Lexi turned around and Nick was down on one knee. Thankfully Lexi said yes, because Nick already had Madi (the maid of honor aka the brides sister) surprise her with an engagement party at the campground with both of their immediate families.
