Nick and I met late October 2018 at a bar in Duluth, Minnesota. Nick was out with two of his best guy friends and I was out with one of my good girl friends. Our two groups met and began talking and dancing. Nick was killing it on the dance floor per usual, but at the end of the night our paths split and I did not see Nick again for about a month. Out of the blue Nick asked me to have drinks at Tavern on the Hill in Duluth. We had a blast and the rest is history!

Nick proposed to me on June 17th, 2020 at our home in Cloquet, Minnesota. Nick called my father on the morning of June 17th to ask for his blessing to marry me and my father said yes. Nick took me out for a birthday dinner at Va Bene Caffe. On the way home, I noticed Nick was being quiet, but did not think anything of it. When we got back to our house, Nick was outside with Dany and called me outside to look under Dany's collar because he thought there was a tick or bump. After looking under her collar and finding nothing, I glanced up and saw Nick on one knee with a gorgeous ring! Nick asked me to marry him and I of course said yes!
