Things To Do

For anyone making a trip out of the weekend and staying for longer than the wedding, here are some of our favorite places to go and fun things to do while you're here!

Promenade Park

202 West Superior Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
, (260) 427-6000

Really cool riverfront park located right downtown. It's fun to walk around at day or night, and from there you can rent kayaks and canoes, go on a boat tour of the river through downtown, play games, and enjoy a beer from Trubble Brewing.

The Deck

305 East Superior Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802

One of our favorite restaurants/bar in Fort Wayne! Located overlooking the river downtown, the atmosphere is so cool and they have some of our favorites foods and the best signature cocktails in town. Warning: we are not responsible for the decisions made and/or the hangovers after consuming a couple Strong Islands from here.

Two-EE's Winery

6808 U.S. 24, Huntington, IN 46750
, (260) 672-2000

Our favorite winery to visit with so many delicious wines, wine slushees, and ciders. They also have lots of yummy food to snack on while you enjoy your wine. Would definitely recommend the dry rosé and the pretzels and queso. (This is a 21+ only winery, so unfortunately you cannot bring your kids here)

Fort Wayne Children's Zoo

3411 Sherman Boulevard, Fort Wayne, IN 46808
, (260) 427-6800

One of our favorite places to go every summer. You can feed the giraffes, ride a ski lift and get panoramic views of tons of animals, and even pet the stingrays! Lots of fun exhibits for both kids and adults.

Foellinger-Friemann Botanical Conservatory

1100 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
, (260) 427-6440

Surround yourself with nature at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory and take a walk through some really cool indoor and outdoor plants, flowers, trees, waterfalls, and so much more. See gardens from all types of environments and the various exhibits available.

The Landing

118 West Columbia Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
, (260) 222-7174

Recently reconstructed in downtown Fort Wayne, The Landing has several awesome restaurants, a great coffee shop, and a brewery. Mercado has a great brunch and I would definitely recommend an iced dirty chai latte from Utopian Coffee.

Conner's Rooftop Fort Wayne - OPEN

223 West Jefferson Boulevard, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
, (260) 702-0348

For those staying at the Hampton Inn for the weekend, this is a perfect place for you to grab something to eat and some delicious cocktails. It's a cool rooftop bar located on the top of the Hampton Inn and has awesome views of Fort Wayne and looks over Parkview Field where the Tincaps play. For those not staying at the hotel, just enter through the lobby and head up to the 7th floor.
