I guess you can call us high school sweethearts...Nick and I were introduced by our friend Andrew back in high school. Nick was always the goofy friend that loved to joke around and I instantly wanted to be his friend. At the end of our junior year, Nick asked me on a date and the rest is history. We took a short break during college to find ourselves, but remained close friends. We reunited shortly after college and realized we had always been looking for each other and are now ready to officially start our lives together!

Kristi thought it was an ordinary Saturday where they were going to meet friends for brunch down by the Alexandria waterfront. Nick asked a couple to take their picture by the water and Kristi thought nothing of it. After about the 15th photo Nick asked the couple to take a few more and he turned, bent down on one knee and asked Kristi if she'd do him the honor of letting him annoy her for the rest of their lives. For everyone that knows Nick - it was the perfect question! Of course her answer was YES! As they turned to the restaurant Kristi could see their families waving down at them from the window - Nick had planned an entire private brunch for their friends and both their families. It was one of the best days and will always be remembered!
