I was his boss at Lowe's... and one day at work, minding my own business. He walks up to me at the customer service desk and says(with a slam of his hand on the counter) "We should go on a date!" I said "Oh really now?" and yeah well...
He took me to Eddy's Grill in Valley Springs. (WOOF-the food, not Nick lol) I still remember this whole day SO vividly. I wore a dark blue flowered tank top. I was so nervous for Jerry to meet him. Our drive there was a non stop conversation about things. Even if we stopped talking, it was never awkward. We both said that that has never happened to either one of us. He liked the same music as me. Everything was so easy.
I don't even know what to say. This baby boy rocked our world. In the BEST way and sometimes the opposite.. but we always ended up stronger. He is the light of our life and the sweetest boy with the biggest heart.
We were at my mom's house for Christmas Eve dinner. We ate dinner and a few people wanted to leave. Nick told them hold on! One second.. really quick... hold on! haha he came around the corner and got down on one knee. I was as huge as a whale(8 months pregnant with Lyla) and in sweatpants..... but thats just how we roll! :)
Still don't know what to say. She is the spunkiest little thing. Full of attitude(just like her daddy) and the sweetest little love bug around. Our family would not be complete without her!
This place we call home is filled with tons of love and so many memories!
