Since you got married last year but are celebrating this year, when should we get you a gift?

Answer

Your generosity is always appreciated! We welcome gifts at anytime. However, please do not feel obligated to get us multiple gifts.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have a registry with Zola available on this website. If you choose to gift us items not on our registry, we ask that you please refrain from purchasing gifts on Amazon and instead support businesses directly, if possible. Thank you for your understanding!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we will have three wedding block rates at local hotels for your convenience. Please visit the "Travel" page of this website to book hotels. The Durham Hotel is located in the center of Durham's downtown area, the Marriott is also downtown and a block away from The Durham Hotel, and the Aloft is part of the American Tobacco Campus (adjacent to downtown).

What time should we arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm, so please plan to arrive between 4 and 4:20 pm. Doors to the Cookery will open at 4 pm to guests.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding is cocktail attire. Please come dressed for a (fairly) formal fun night out!

Will transportation to the venue be provided?

Answer

Transportation to the venue will be provided so you can enjoy your night out. There will be a shuttle that runs between all three hotels and the wedding venue to transport guests to and from the celebration. You are also welcome take an Uber or a Lyft as downtown Durham and all of the hotels are located 1-2 miles from the venue.
