Kaylee and Nick’s story began in the heart of Vero Beach, Florida. They met during their senior year at Vero Beach High School, and what started as a simple first date at Sumo in the summer of 2017 quickly blossomed into a deep and effortless connection. From day one, they were best friends - inseparable in the truest sense of the word. Their early years together were filled with the kind of memories that last a lifetime. They did everything together, supported each other from the sidelines at lacrosse and baseball games, and danced together at both homecoming and prom. They were young, in love, and growing up side by side. Life, as it often does, led them down different paths. In the winter of 2018, they made the difficult decision to part ways. But their story was far from over. Even during their time apart, Kaylee and Nick remained a steady presence in each other’s lives, finding ways to stay connected and still spending time together whenever they returned home to Vero Beach. In the summer of 2021, after Kaylee completed her junior year of college, Nick had relocated to Nantucket for work. Their connection had never truly faded, and they both felt the pull to see where things might go. Kaylee flew to Nantucket, and within days, it was clear - they still felt at home with one another. They picked up right where they had left off, with the same comfort, laughter, and love they had always shared. The months that followed were filled with hope, but also challenges. Kaylee’s senior year of college proved to be incredibly difficult, and the distance between them made it even harder. Eventually, they went their separate ways once again. But even then, they never stopped checking in - their bond, though tested, never fully disappeared. Then came 2024. Both had returned to their hometown of Vero Beach, changed in all the right ways. Older, more grounded, and with a clearer vision of what truly mattered, Kaylee and Nick found their way back to each other - not by chance, but because they were always meant to. This time, there was no turning back. They knew what they wanted, and more importantly, they knew who they wanted to face life with. Kaylee and Nick had grown up, fallen in and out of love, and through it all, never lost sight of the connection that brought them together in the first place. Now, they’re ready to begin their forever - surrounded by the family and friends who’ve cheered them on through every chapter of their journey.
