HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Katie and Nick's story is nothing short of a love story. Katie, born and raised in North Carolina, while Nick was born in Florida and moved to Arizona as a kid, quickly becoming an Arizona local loving its sunny desert charm and cool nights. Three years ago, Nick's family and him, moved to Charlotte for a new job opportunity. Missing the warmth of the desert, Nick missed Arizona, his family, and friends back home. His family quickly joined a church, and not surprisingly, made tons of friends. Katie, a junior at North Carolina State University studying Fashion and Textiles, enjoying her friends, church, and life in NC. At a church conference, Katie met a friend, who happened to go to church, and room with Nick in a little apartment in Charlotte. The friend enjoyed photography and wanted to take pictures of Katie and her sister, Mary-Hannah, as he did, he posted them on his social media. Nick quickly began to fall for this girl he saw on his roommate's Instagram, Katie, he found was her name and that she lived 3 hours away from him. That didn't stop Nick from chasing after Katie, he began talking to her every day since he saw her, asking if he could drive to take her on a date. She agreed. After Katie met Nick, she fell for him instantly, telling her family that this is her one, she's going to marry Nick. They spent every weekend traveling to see each other, making their relationship official in April. They now have been dating close to two years this April. Nick proposed to Katie at their favorite spot in Arizona, which he took her to the first time Katie traveled with Nick to Arizona in February. After finding their mountain and watching the sunset there, that quickly became their favorite memory together. Returning to Arizona this December, Katie, and Nick, went to that very spot on the mountain. Nick wanted nothing more than to be with Katie forever, and she felt that way for him. Nick fell to one knee, she said yes, and on June 5th the rest of their lives begin.
