FINALLY!

Our love story, believe it or not - begins with match.com. YES! It truly can find your soulmate! January 23, 2015 - First encounter together with friends at Odis 12 in Erie, PA. January 25, 2015 - Second date at Firebirds! (Kate's favorite) February 14, 2015 - Third date - let's make us official. July 2016 - Nick committed moving with Kate to Florida in order to allow her to pursue the field of Speech Pathology and complete a master's degree. August 2016 - Bought our first home together! Jacksonville, FL July 2017 - Nick accepted his position to continue his passion in Sales and Marketing with Vermeer Southeast -for the company's directional drilling and utility sector. April 2018 - Kate graduated from Jacksonville University with a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology. She accepted a position immediately in St. Augustine, FL. June 2018 - We decided to move further south to Saint Augustine, FL. Sold our first home and bought our second (dream home!) August 2019 - Hurricane Dorian hits - (We were scheduled for a cruise to the Bahamas where Nick had everything set to propose!) - The cruise was cancelled due to the storm and Nick, needless to say, was stressing out slightly! LOL August 31, 2019 - PLAN B. We decide to take a vacation to Nashville and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Nick proposed! He took Kate to a lovely dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe on the river in downtown Nashville. When they walked out of the restaurant a Cinderella-like carriage was awaiting them. Nick got down on one knee and popped the question! The carriage took us through a ride under the lights in downtown Nashville and then dropped us off at the Dierks Bentley Bar. We got out and went inside and to much of Kate's surprise - Nick had a band setup to play Love Story by Taylor Swift when we walked inside.
