When Kait moved to New York City in 2021, she arrived with starry eyes and big dreams. Nick could tell something good was waiting for him in New York, because he planned a summer internship in the city in 2022. Although their paths didn’t cross, the stars had begun to align! In 2023, Nick moved to the city permanently after graduating. Kait had conveniently moved into the same Manhattan church congregation. Nick and Kait met officially in 2023 (on a group date)… Although they weren’t each other’s dates, they had a brief chance to say hi and introduce themselves. They began to say “Hey ;)” more and more often, seeing each other consistently at parties and get-togethers. They both began to plot, and Kait made the first very subtle move… by asking Nick when he planned on taking her out on a date. Nick somehow got the memo. During the summer of 2024 they finally had their first date. They got some food in K-Town and walked around the city, talking the entire evening and late into the night. I guess you could say they hit it off. On August 20th, 2024, they made it official. The Nick and Kait couldn’t have been happier, and Nick proposed a little over one year later, early in the morning in Central Park on October 5th, 2025. Kait has since graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and started her career as a Suite Ambassador at the Carlyle Hotel. Nick has been working as an investment banker at HSBC since moving here. Nick and Kait spend their days exploring the city, trying new restaurants, volunteering at their church, spending time with friends, and making the most of their Citi Bike / AMC A-Lister memberships.
