Kaelene and Nick met in middle school through Kaelene's best friend and Nick's cousin Kayla. One of their first memories together was going to Cape Cod with our three families back in 2013. Fast forward to college. Nick commuted to CCSU and Kaelene lived at ECSU. Nick visited friends most weekends at Eastern. Soon, Kaelene and Nick rekindled a friendship and started dating their junior year. A few years later they took their first big step together and moved into an apartment. Here, they adopted their sweet cat Finnegan. In November of 2023, Nick proposed to Kaelene at Magic Kingdom in Disney on her families vacation. To her surprise, his parents flew out to be apart of their big day! Kaelene and Nick are so thankful for their families and their support they have given throughout their relationship. They feel lucky as their families have become so close! We can't wait to officially make our families one big one.
