Two becoming one.

Going all the way back to high school, Nick and Jula met in their Leadership class because they were both apart of "rally crew". Through the late nights of planning rallies, Nick and Jula bonded instantly. Constantly dreaming about their future and now they are able to finally live it! Jumping off planes, hiking into the Grand Canyon, and even moving states with one another. After soaking up the Arizona sun for a couple years, Nick and Jula now reside in Grass Valley. Nick works with his dad learning the family business and Jula is going to school, while caregiving for her grandma. Some of their favorite things to do together is spend time with family and friends, go to the river, have coffee dates, building new projects, and kicking back watching their latest binge show and eating chipotle. Through is all, they have always said, "it's us against the world". They love being able to tackle challenges together, as a team, whatever that might be. They can’t wait to see adventures their future will bring!

Nick proposed on October 7th, 2017. He set up the day doing all of Jula’s favorite things. After waking up they went to a nursery (coffee in hand) to look at all the succulents, flowers, and fruit trees. After that, they headed to Awful Annies (YUM!) for brunch. Jula sipped on a mimosa as they shared a delicious meal. They headed towards their next destination, the Yuba River! After relaxing for awhile they had to stop at Home Depot and then get some ice cream because nick had to buy some time while everything was getting set up! When they got home, Jula was immediately suspicious something was going on, but she went to go freshen up. As they walked out the front door to “go to dinner”, Jula was surrounded by sunflowers, twinkle lights, and a table set for two. Nick then pulled her aside and asked her to be his forever, and she (of course) said YES!
