We’re getting married!

Anyone who knows me would describe me as quiet. I have always been a very privately happy person. When I met Nick I thought “my God, he is the happiest human I will ever meet”. From the moment he sparked a conversation with me behind our college bar The Lantern to the moment he told me he loved me, he always had a big goofy smile on his face. I make jokes that I do not leave Nick alone in public places because he will, without fail, make friends with whoever is around him. Nick's happiness, his energy, his genuine excitement about life, his never-ending optimism, is contagious. And like a contagion, it spread through me, warming my rarely smiling face. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to have a man who makes me smile just by existing. I can not wait for us to start our journey into married life and exhaust my face with endless smiles to match his.
