Jessica and Nick met at the Michael J. O'Mara Annual Golf Tournament on August 8, 2019. Nick was in school at Northeastern University after returning from six years serving in the US Army, and Jessica had recently graduated from Boston University. While Nick was not originally supposed to go to the tournament that day, fate would have it that his brother called last minute in search of an extra player. Nick stepped in, and the rest is history.
