Nick was a patron at the bank that I worked at, he decided to take a risk, and ask me out, and I decided to take a risk and say yes. For our first date, Nick had made a reservation at a trendy and quant little restaurant followed with a long walk down to the water. After a night of sharing endless stories, laughter, and conversation with each other, I went home knowing that I had met the one, little did I know, he shared similar thoughts at the end of that night.
For our one year anniversary, Nick recreated our first date. we had dinner at a little rustic restaurant off of the Guilford green (the waitress even sat us at our same table we had previously sat at exactly one year ago!). after dinner we took a long walk down to the water, we spent that time reminiscing about how anxious and excited we both were as we were getting to know each other, and how blessed we both are now to be taking this same walk again. Nick then proceeded to walk me back to an empty parking spot where he had walked me to where my car was the night of our first date, next thing I know, Nick is down on one knee and I couldn't say yes fast enough!
