Nick and Hannah didn't have the best record of dating and relationships, so they did what every single person in their 30's did- downloaded Hinge and swiped away from the comfort of their own homes. Nick saw Hannah's profile and knew immediately this was a good fit, as he had a history of dating Jewish girls named Hannah. They went on a first date to Mi Barrio. Upon laying eyes on Nick's hawaiian shirt, Hannah thought 'oh wow pretty sure my dad owns that same shirt'. In true Nick fashion (no pun intended), he stayed pretty quiet on the first date. Nick thought it went great. Hannah thought it went ok. Nick asked Hannah on a second date and Hannah wasn't sure this was her person. She ended things. He kept texting her, high on the fumes of hope and love. She realized this beer guy might be better than he let on so she gave him a third redemption date. He redeemed himself, they went on many more dates. He met Patches. Patches was unsure of him. Before they knew it, they started spending weekends together, hanging out with friends, and in no time, they were deeply in love and planning their future. Hannah took Nick to Europe for the first time, Nick took Hannah to her first international barbershop chorus competition, and eventually Nick changed jobs and moved in with Hannah! Patches even grew to be okay with Nick, as long as he holds a treat. After 3.5 years, Nick proposed to Hannah on a waterfall hike in the Pisgah National Forest during a weekend trip to Asheville. They will be saying 'I do' with immediate family in the North Georgia mountains and celebrating with friends shortly after. Thank you for being part of our journey- we can't wait to start this next chapter!
