Overview
Guests will fly in to Calgary airport and then travel to Lake Louise via personal conveyance of choice (rental car, train, bus, etc.) Once at Lake Louise we have a discounted rate at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and at the Lake Louise Inn (use promo code and links under the hotel sections below). Please keep in mind the rates you see are in Canadian dollars so check current exchange rate for US dollar conversion (approximately 25% savings at time of writing August 2024). The wedding will be in the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise where we have reserved a room block. Please book early to ensure availability. Additionally, due to limited availability of parking at the lake there will be a shuttle provided on the day of the wedding if guests choose to stay in the Lake Louise Village (approximately 10 minute drive down the road). Flight
Calgary International Airport (YYC)
Calgary International Airport YYC is the closest airport to Banff / Lake Louise. *Passports are required to fly from the United States to Canada Calgary is one and half hours from Banff and just under two hours from Lake Louise Village. Getting from the Airport to Banff / Lake Louise is easy with Brewster Express or Mountain Park Transportation. Both services pick you up at the airport and deliver you to your hotel of choice. National Park Pass - Required
Everyone visiting Banff, Lake Louise and Banff National Park will need a Park Pass in order to attend our wedding and for the duration of their stay in the park. This can be purchased in advance or at the gate when you arrive. Parking passes are per vehicle.

Wedding Day Shuttle
We will provide shuttle transportation from Lake Louise Village (location of Lake Louise Inn and Post Hotel) to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for the wedding events on Friday.

Travel Note
Town of Banff
Banff is a lovely town to stay in before or after the wedding, however it is roughly 45 minutes from the Lake Louise so we do not recommend staying there for the wedding. It is important to note that parking is challenging at Lake Louise, if you hope to drive.
