Nick and Fiona met as interns at the UCSF Breast Care Center, the same hospital where Fiona's parents met years before! Some may say that Fiona, the senior intern already in her second year at her program, abused her power and status in wooing the young, impressionable Nick - but who is to say. Despite the strict professionalism Nick and Fiona are so well known for, their feelings for each other were difficult to conceal. They spent their first year together falling in love with San Francisco and each other - eating Mexican food together while the sun set in Dolores Park, sneaking away for long lunches in Japantown, dancing together downtown at the Swig, hurling Frisbees way off-target in Golden Gate Park, and riding bike-shares across every square inch of the city because Fiona gets car sick. Before long, they were bidding farewell to SF and embarking on a 3-week drive across the country in a campervan named Jagger as they moved to New York City to start medical school and a new job. 4 years and 1 pandemic later, they're back in California getting married - and they want you there to celebrate with them!!!
