Salmon is a somewhat remote small town with good but limited lodging options. Booking lodging well in advance will ensure you have a place to stay! Salmon is small and very walkable so wherever you stay, you will have easy access to downtown. In addition to the Stagecoach Inn, there are a few other hotels and several vacation rentals available.

Traveling to Salmon

The nearest large airports to Salmon are Missoula, MT (~3 hour drive) and Idaho Falls, ID (~2.5 hour drive). Driving from either of these airports is probably the best option for out-of-state guests. We are happy to help coordinate carpools.

The Stagecoach is next door to our venue, and would be a great option for those who don't want to have to drive after the reception. It is also easy walking distance to downtown. Call the front desk and let the receptionist know you are booking with the corporate wedding discount in order to receive their wedding rate.

Local Car Camping

For those who would prefer not to book lodging, there is abundant public land on which to car camp. Some locations include BLM land at Discovery Hill and Lemhi Hole just north of town.
