Of course, it all started at the racetrack. š Nick was racing super late models all over Florida, but the track that brought us together was 417 Speedway in Punta Gorda. We had known of each other for years, crossing paths at races but never really speakingāuntil one day, Nick sent a message on Snapchat that unknowingly kicked off the biggest chapter of our lives. At the time, Nick was constantly on the road, coaching go-kart drivers across the country. Even with his packed schedule, he always made time for dinner dates in Fort Myers and weekend visits. Whether it was Erin heading up to Palmetto, Nick making the drive down, or the two of us spending time at the track, we made every moment count. After about a year of balancing miles and messages, we knew it was time to close the distance. Erin made the move to Palmetto, and for the past four years, weāve been building a life full of love, laughter, and plenty of racing in between. Five years later, weāre (finally) engagedāand we canāt wait to start our next lap together as husband and wife. š
