Nick and Emma first met in 2015 while working at Mary's Woods. Nick and Emma were both servers at the time and instantly became great friends. Nick was smitten by Emma's smile and bright eyes. Emma loved Nicks laugh and curly long hair. They went from great friends to long conversations by their cars. Their manager (Michael Portillo) along with numerous residents pushed them together. Nick asked Emma to be his girlfriend during the 2017 solar eclipse that happened on August 21st. They have been inseparable since and overcome many hurdles during their years together. They've faced the 2019 pandemic, overcome Emma's multiple study abroad trips, a year apart while Nick pursued improv in Los Angles and Emma her BS in Communications as well as the passing of Nick's father Daniel. While Nick has proposed to Emma multiple times throughout the years (the first time being a Tenacious D concert in Portland, OR) he finally officially popped the question with his grandmothers ring on August 21, 2024.
