Home of our welcome party, Oak to Ember is a great spot to hang and grab some food or drinks any day you're in town. They have a full bar, indoor and outdoor seating, and are a family-run business that we've become huge fans of as we've gotten to know Gloucester. Oak to Ember is a stone's throw from the Beauport Hotel and is an absolute lock for a good time.
Take a walk through downtown Gloucester! There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops and bars for a fun afternoon of exploring.
Calling our flower fans: if you get a nice Fall day, you can't go wrong taking a stroll down Western Ave to see some of Lani's favorite Dahlias!
Stage Fort Park is right on the harbor. Follow the park along the water if you're looking for a good walk, or just say "Stage Fort Park" with a Boston accent 10 times if you have no interest in a park but you like laughing.
One of our favorite beaches! This place is definitely a car ride away... but if you have wheels with you, it's worth checking out (weather permitting).
