It all starts in 2015, when we both find ourselves at the same swim school. At the time, we are just colleagues—teaching kids to swim, chatting during breaks, and laughing at the little moments that come with being part of the same busy world. There is something easy about our friendship, though we don’t know at the time just how important that bond will become. For two years there was nothing more than friendship between us. We spend countless hours talking about everything and nothing at all, sharing stories of our lives outside of the pool, but never really considering anything more. But in 2017, something shifts; a surprise date takes our relationship to another level. The truth is, we’ve already spent years getting to know each other in ways that feel effortless. And so, with that one simple question, our story takes on a new chapter—one that we’ve been writing together ever since. From that day on, our love story quickly turns into one grand adventure after another. We travel the world, indulge in amazing food (and maybe a bit too much wine), and discover that life is a lot more fun when we’re laughing and exploring with our best friend. We learn that love isn’t just about the big moments—it’s about sharing inside jokes, spontaneous trips, and not taking ourselves too seriously. And of course, it helps when we’re with someone who can match our level of enthusiasm for buttery chardonnay and midnight snacks. Now, here we are, about to take the biggest leap of all—and while we may have met in a pool, it feels like the entire world is our oyster. Thank you all for being a part of our story.
