Love is in the air

There are lots of ways people find love. Some have it happen at a coffee shop. Some have it happen at a gym. But how did Cristi and Nick meet? Shaquille O'Neal... kind of. Cristi was working Shaq's Hall of Fame induction in 2016, where she met Nick's best friend, Mike. The two of them were working on a project with Samsung (Cristi’s client from Wasserman) and Shaq (with whom Mike worked with and produced his TV show on TNT, Shaqtin’ A Fool). The two became friends and would occasionally catch up. In May 2019, Mike saw that Cristi was moving from New York City to Seattle. Knowing that Nick had lived in Seattle for 6+ years, Mike introduced Cristi and Nick via text message, saying the two should meet so Nick could help Cristi meet some new people. After some small talk on a text chain, Nick offered to help Cristi move into her new apartment (and, whether crazy or desperate), she actually accepted. Yep, she let some stranger who she only knew through a distant friend into her new apartment. The minute Nick turned the corner and saw Cristi, it truly was love at first sight. He remembers his stomach dropping and thinking to himself how gorgeous she was. She wasn't as impressed, and still gives Nick a hard time over his "Nike hiking shoes", which are really Nike running shoes. But that's besides the point. The two built furniture together, unpacked boxes and grabbed a late lunch. They've been inseparable ever since.
