Wedding Party

Just a few of our crew...

Claudia Carcelen

Bride

A lover of kayaking and seeing the world. Happiest when she's out in the sun. It’s funny we share a birthday, because that’s one thing Claudia really loves - sharing celebration with friends. It may have taken me a little over a decade to realize what was right in front of me, but I'm glad I did. You never know what her creative mind will dream up next. I love how she keeps me on my toes!

Nick Lacanski

Groom

A self-made computer nerd with a taste for classical music. Like a true Bama boy, bleeds Crimson and rolls with the Tide. Loves building furniture, speakers, and apps from scratch. A sucker for anything with lamb in it. My birthday buddy for life (though he beat me out by a few hours). Won me over with his corny jokes and lean calves.

Andrea Carcelen

Maid of Honor

The bride's older sister, and leader of the sister-pack. She wasn't crazy about me at first, but I grew on her. Has definitely traveled more than you. She's all about shots (of the vaccine variety). When she's not dominating the world of global health, she's running circles around the rest of us as she preps for her next race!

Doug Pigue

Best Man

From Tuscaloosa to Birmingham, we’ve managed to survive things nightmares are made of - yellow jackets in noses, mold monsters, and peaceful ghosts. Doug has been by my side through all of it, so it makes sense for him to be a part of this day too.

Erica Carcelen

Maid of Honor

Lover of sloths, bats, and other zoo creatures, Erica is the baby sister. Loves long naps and laughing. Growing up with this bundle of joy around has always made for fun road trips. I'm excited for her to be part of the big day!

Jimmy Screven

Groomsman

One of the Riverside roommates at Alabama, a fellow Altamontian, and a lover of rhymes. Whenever I need him, Jimmy always rises to the occasion, even making hour-long trips to help friends in need…

Emily Castle

Bridesmaid

A fellow Davidson Wildcat and bookworm, Emily was one of my first college friends and roommates. She even convinced me to join her in Iceland for one of the most amazing trips I've ever taken! There are too many stories to share here, but I'm sure there will be more to come!

Nick Scott

Groomsman

Another Riverside roommate at Alabama, we’ve been through a lot - from multimedia video projects to Age of Empires LAN parties to plays on the baseball diamond (I have a home run to my name, no matter how short a porch it was!).

Anna Chiles

Bridesmaid

One of my oldest friends from Altamont, Anna is one of the smartest people I know. She's got a nose for good wine, great food, and shaping the bright, young minds of tomorrow. Anna actually wrote one of my college recommendations!

Brad Viger

Groomsman

The first time I really hung out with Brad, he and Nick and I went to see the Cubs play the Braves. He’s alright for a Cubs fan, and we got to be better friends once we all moved to Birmingham. He also made a pretty good landlord for Claudia.

Ashton Colaianni

Bridesmaid

When she's not globetrotting, you might find Ashton prepping for another triathlon or race. She is a master at finding the best travel or credit card deals, and loves good ramen. She is a great friend to have in your corner.

Andrew Scarbrough

Groomsman

You might be sensing a pattern here - I first met Andrew at Alabama. Andrew is a master of the one liners and loves terrible jokes. If he’s sitting there quietly, you just better hope his observation isn’t about you.

Alex de Marigny

Bridesmaid

Alex is another one of the Davidson ladies in the bridal party. Her Texas roots shine through at the shooting range. Friendly, laid back, and very talented jewelry maker. I'm excited to have this gem be a part of the wedding!

Peter Johnson

Groomsman

Peter is another Alabama grad and a grand master beer brewer. He’s one of the most laid back people I’ve ever met, so his even keel can definitely help me out in heated situations. It’s always nice when cooler heads prevail.

Erica Lewis Dozier

Bridesmaid

Erica was one of my first friends at Davidson, and one of my freshman and sophomore hallmates. She is a master planner and great yoga buddy. When she's not playing with her pup, Otis, she's making magic in the kitchen (I hear her Korean BBQ is the best).

Nick Lacanski

Groomsman

The father of the groom. Always ready with a comeback, he’s the master at making you groan and roll your eyes and then laugh no matter how badly you don’t want to. Just make sure you don’t call him Shirley.

Sara Levintow

Bridesmaid

A lover of cats and hot sauce, Sara is another one of my favorite Davidson Wildcats. She is an amateur photographer extraordinaire with flawless Snap and Insta skills. She also makes a mean (and spicy) guacamole!

Chris Goding

Groomsman

The “potluck” Riverside roommate who had the unfortunate fate to be placed in a dorm with three people who already knew each other. He handled it pretty well, even through crawfish in Pop Tarts boxes…

Hannah Ware

Bridesmaid

We were both new kids at Altamont when Hannah and I became friends. I spent many afternoons playing with the pups and snacking on popsicles at her house. Even though she's a busy doctor now, she'll always make time to catch up over a drink together!

Pisco Carcelen

Groomspup

The youngest (or oldest?) of our crew, Pisco was just 3 pounds when he joined the family. He's a loyal pup who loves to meet new people. Feed him a snack and he'll love you forever!

Margot Zipperstein

Bridesmaid

Another lady Wildcat, Margot is one of my closest friends from college. Together, we've weathered adventures in Mexico, North Carolina road trips, and the shenanigans of leading 160 girls as Prez and VP of Connor Eating House. I can't wait to have her along on our big day!
