Although we are opting for a later ceremony at 4pm, the temperatures for the end of June could still be mid to high 20 degrees. Hand fans will be provided but I would recommend having some water with you for your journey/ ceremony to keep you hydrated as the ceremony is unsheltered.
We have been advised that the venue is a little remote from the hustle and bustle of Vilamoura and Albufeira. Taxis will be no problem going to the venue. We have a concierge service to book taxis home from the venue as it can be more difficult to secure taxis home. For anyone driving there is an on-site car park
As much as we love the little ones, we are choosing to have an adult only wedding day. However, if anyone is travelling with kids, they are more than welcome to come to the Welcome Party and the Day 2 Pool Party.
We have professional photographers and videographers so we wish for there to be an unplugged wedding ceremony. You are welcome to take photographs from the cocktail reception as long as you please do not upload any of us until we have posted ourselves.
We would love everyone to dress up in formal wear to celebrate with us. As temperatures will be hot, men do not need to worry about a tie on their shirt. A long-sleeved open shirt is no problem with long trousers and a jacket.
The most important gift to us is having you share in our special day. But if you wish to contribute in some other way we would love a few pennies in our pot, for our honeymoon trip after tying the knot.
We are having 4 courses and then late night snacks of the following: Caesar salad-chicken, crispy bacon, parmesan shavings, croutons Cod loin-with sweet potato puree, green asparagus, olive oil, pistachio and lemon Roast beef-with mustard sauce, gratin potato, and sauteed vegetables Chocolate fondant-with salted caramel, vanilla ice cream
The ceremony will start a 4pm, so if guests could arrive around 20-30 minutes before to get seated
