What’s the dress code?

Answer

Formal or Black Tie Optional Formal or black tie optional is just a slight step down from black tie. Although an evening gown would definitely still be suitable, you could also opt for a mid-length gown, dressy top and skirt, or even an elegant ankle-length jumpsuit. You’ll still want to complete the look with formal hair, makeup and accessories. For the guys, a dark suit jacket could be worn in place of an overly formal tuxedo jacket, although the overall look should still feel refined and sophisticated including dress shoes and a tie.

What is your color scheme?

Answer

Our theme is navy and burgundy with pops of color but feel free to dress in your desired colors. If you want to blend with the wedding color scheme, fall colors or jeweled tones, ex. emeralds, sapphire, citron, ruby etc., are a safe bet.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would like to have guests seated by 3:30 with a start time of 4:00.

How do I get the group rate at the Bohemian Hotel at Celebration?

For the group rate, the booking code is W14 and you’ll enter it under the category of corporate/promo code.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You may bring one guest unless otherwise specified. Please let us know if you plan to do so by the rsvp date of July 18th.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

There is an open bar for the cocktail hour. There will be a cash bar during the reception and the hotel has an ATM on site as the bar does not take cards.

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome but please let us know by the rsvp date of July 18th if they are coming as dinner is served seated and plated in seating assignments.

Is the entire wedding outside?

Answer

Only the wedding ceremony and cocktail reception are outdoors. The reception will be inside.

Answer

Yes, please let us know well in advance and we will request accommodations.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes parking is available on the adjacent streets. The hotel does charge for parking, so you would need to go inside and register to park in their private lot.

We are registered on our wedding website through Zola. We are primarily seeking to fund our honeymoon.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend the venue hotel, the Bohemian at Celebration and we are aware of a nearby hotel, Grand Orlando Resort with reduced rates. Check the Travel page for a number of additional suggestions.

What’s the typical temperature in October in Florida.

Answer

Typically the daily rains have ended and the temperature is growing more cool in a good year. Expect temperatures between 70-90 degrees in a day with cool mornings, warm afternoons, and cool evenings.

Should we rent a car or uber?

Answer

If you’ll be staying at the hotel and enjoying Celebration, a car rental may not be needed. If you intend to visit the parks, a rental car is suggested because public transportation is limited.
