Please bear with us and check back. We will be adding additional information soon!
We’ve gotten this question, or some variation of it, a lot over the last several months! The short answer is, because we love it and it’s the perfect venue for our wedding. This is also where Nick proposed! It is a very special place. When you are riding the train up the mountain, and see sunlight hitting steam between giant redwood trees, we think you’ll understand.
Dressy casual attire, paired with comfortable shoes that you don’t mind wearing while walking in the dirt. We recommend avoiding heels.

Yes! Please let us know if you will be bringing a wheelchair or electric scooter. The train, ceremony site, and reception hall are wheelchair accessible.
Our ceremony site is nestled amongst beautiful redwood trees. As such, we will be having a standing ceremony. This means that the bride and groom, wedding party, and guests will be standing during the ceremony. We promise to make it short and sweet!
If you are unable to stand during the short ceremony, please reach out to me. We understand that for some people, it is simply not feasible to stand comfortably for more than a couple minutes, and we want our guests to be able to enjoy our wedding and reception as much as we will! We have access and space for a very limited number of seats which can be used during the ceremony, and will do our absolute best to accommodate you!
The train will not wait! As such, we strongly recommend arriving on time! By arriving at 3pm, you will have time to park your vehicle and make your way to the train platform before it’s departure.
Unfortunately, there is no other way for us to get you up the mountain. If you miss the train, you miss the wedding! That said, if you do miss the train (which we hope nobody will!), stick around. Explore the area, enjoy the beauty all around you. We will be back after the ceremony, and would love to see you at the reception!
For the wedding ceremony, we ask that you kindly keep all phones, cameras, etc. tucked away. We are looking forward to sharing this very special moment in our lives with you, and would like everyone to take the opportunity to enjoy the scenery and be fully present during our wedding ceremony. Our photographer is Excellent, and we will happily share his photos of the wedding ceremony with you all once we receive them! Of course, you are welcome to take as many pictures and videos as you like during the rest of the day. We especially recommend having your cameras at hand during the beautiful train ride!
There are restrooms located both up the mountain near where the wedding ceremony will be held, and down by the train platform and reception hall. There are no restroom facilities on the train, so please plan accordingly.
March 24th! Our venue needs our final guest count that week, so it’s important for us to have all of the R.S.V.P.’s, back by then, including from those of you who are sadly unable to attend. Thank you!
You will be missing a wonderful wedding! But we understand that for whatever reason, you may not be able to attend. Please let us know via R.S.V.P., and know that we love you and you will be missed!
Parking is plentiful, and free for wedding guests. You may leave your car overnight and pick up the following morning if necessary.
Yes! If you will be drinking, please have a safe ride planned for after the reception.
We are still working on everything, so check our website again! If it's something that you need to know now in order to make plans, or if it's April and the website still hasn't answered your question, please reach out to carolnabrams@yahoo.com
A life together filled with love! More tangibly, we are planning to buy a house later this year, and so we are saving up for that purchase and for the expenses that will appear once are homeowners! (Including but certainly not limited to paying for any minor renovations/repairs that the house needs, adding bookshelves, getting a dining set, etc.)
Yes! We love kids, and are happy to include them in our wedding celebrations. We tried our best to list all of your children on the wedding invitation, but if we missed someone please forgive us and let us know!
Your RSVP card states the number of seats we have reserved for you. If it indicates there is space for you to bring a guest, please list the name of the person you will be bringing when returning the RSVP card. If the RSVP card shows only a seat for you, we would prefer you come alone. We guarantee there will be awesome people atttending our wedding for you to hang out with! Thank you for understanding.
