Yes and no. We love all your adorable kids and can't wait to have 100 of our own one day, but we really want you to enjoy yourselves to the fullest and sometimes that's hard to do with a tired, and cranky kid (there, we said it). We will help you secure a babysitter if you need one. We could also plan a "kids room" at the reception venue with a babysitter, chicken fingers, and all the screen time in the world, if that's a better option for you. Just contact Cara so she can help coordinate.
If you're anywhere on the coast of Monterey it might be overcast and chilly so plan to bring a jacket. When you're in Carmel Valley it is almost always sunny and warm. Basically, be prepared to be hot one minute and chilly the next.
Nope! You will have the option to enjoy the terrace at any time during the cocktail hour and reception though.
Not really. Ceremony will end around 4:30 and cocktail hour begins at 5:00pm. We are giving you about 30 minutes for transportation (shuttles will be provided at the church).
About 5-10 minutes. We are providing shuttles to take you from the church to the reception venue directly following the ceremony.
Yes, there is parking at both the ceremony venue and the reception venue. The church has a parking lot and street parking. The reception venue will have valet.
What's better than one party...? TWO PARTIES. We want everybody there!
Yes! And it's on a lawn so ladies plan your shoes accordingly.
Absolutely not, you can wear whatever color you fancy.
5 hours if you don't hit traffic and go the main freeways. If you take PCH, the scenic route, which we recommend if you're tagging on a few days, then it can take anywhere from 6-8 hours depending on how many stops along the way you make.
Only about 45 minutes.
About 2.5 hours...HIGHLY recommend a night or two there if you love and appreciate good wine as much as we do.
Yes, great question.
