Question
When should I arrive?
Answer
The Carter will open beginning at 5pm. We ask that guests arrive no later than 5:15pm to find their seats and help us kick off the evening's festivities on time!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes - it's your time to shine! We are asking our guests to dress formally for the occasion. For ladies, this means a midi or floor length dress or pantsuit. For gentlemen, tuxedos or suits are preferred. Please note that weather-permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour are intended to be outdoors.

What should I know about transportation and/or parking?
Answer
We highly encourage the use of public transportation, Uber, or Lyft. For those choosing to drive, free parking is available on site at The Carter.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
We are so excited to celebrate this special day with our favorite people. If you have received a plus one, his/her name or the words "and guest" will appear on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Are children invited?
Answer
We have chosen to keep our wedding weekend a 21+ celebration to ensure all of our guests can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the day. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us!

What if I have an allergy or dietary restriction?
Answer
There will be a vegetarian meal option available, but please contact us with any specific dietary restrictions and we will make sure to accommodate you.

Tell me more about Saturday's event.
Answer
We don't want the party to stop! Join us on Saturday 9/26 at The Aberdeen Tap from 11:30am-3:30pm for college football and more time with family and friends. Light bites and drinks will be served. This event is casual so no need to bring another party outfit! There is free street parking available in the neighborhood around TAT as well as metered parking available on nearby Grand Avenue. We ask that this event also remain 21+ as the bar has limited capacity. Thank you for understanding!
