Rumored to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the U.S- Lake Whatcom is easily accessible but still feels secluded. There is a maintained walking trail, an old railroad bed and at about mile marker 1.5 you come to a small bridge after passing small waterfalls
Nick and my favorite spot in the world! Finnriver is a 33 acre organic family farm and artisan Cidery that handcrafts award-winning sparkling hard ciders and fruit wines... add local live music, great fresh food vendors, lawn games and being surrounded by the most lush scenery and you have Finnriver! Located in the fertile Chimacum Valley of Washington's Olympic Peninsula they welcome visitors to visit the farm and get a taste of life on the land! Tasting Room is open year-round with great flavors for every season!
Leave your cares behind and spend some time exploring Bellingham’s Fairhaven Historic District. Located on the north end of Chuckanut Drive, Fairhaven is noted for its colorful 19th-century architecture and history. In recent years, the district has blossomed into a lively getaway destination. Many red brick relics of Fairhaven’s Victorian-era survive in the federally designated historic district’s six square blocks. These and newer structures are now home to a variety of unique local shops, art galleries, restaurants and pubs, and one of the best independent bookstores in the nation.
