For our 'registry', we will have a love note mailbox at Gram's where we'll welcome cards for our wedding scrapbook! We encourage you to share pieces of advice, love poems, fun anecdotes, or anything else your heart desires. So far as gifts, we currently live in a 300 square foot tiny cottage where we have everything we need (and not much room for anything else). Plus, we'll be leaving in September to travel around Europe. We've dreamt for years about having our family and friends come together for a special celebration and we know it takes a lot to get here. Your presence is truly our greatest gift of all. For those of you who don't accept that answer...we will say... We've been on the hunt for a home with a backyard where we can host our own garden parties! So if anything, a small contribution for our little dream home would be a gift that would be enjoyed for years to come (especially when you come to visit). Thank you and we love you! Nick & Bay
Yes!!! I know Nick won't snoop and find this site unless I'm reading it to him. So for his birthday, I'd love to do "Birthday Cookbook Case." As we all know, he is enthralled with all things food, so if you could bring one of your favorite cookbooks or beverage books to add to our collection, he would be ecstatic! He also loves food memoirs, food history, narrative nonfiction about food...(you get the idea). Aside from that, he's a fool for colorful and/or homemade birthday cards and will be very excited for a group rendition of the happy birthday song. A citrus-inspired summer evening outdoors in Orange County bursting with florals seems like it calls for garden party attire, don't you think? We encourage a hint of all things fancy, whimsical, and garden-like! Think linen, floral prints, sundresses, light colored suits, and even fun hats if you desire. Bowties and fascinators (you might have to Google that) are encouraged. Guys, go ahead and wear those colorful summer shorts. Gals, go for the heels or the sandals. Whatever makes you happy. More than anything, we want you to be comfortable and feel footloose and fancy-free.
