We met in the desolate Target Cicero, where it seemed all life and joy have been extinguished by rude guests, fluorescent lights and COVID. Even with the world on lockdown, we made an effort to be around each other. We would go to movies, the mall, walks, play games on the Switch and Xbox and travel to different cities (mainly for football). I even got her to go to the renaissance fair. With our shared love of Mexican food and each other's company a friendship bloomed into romance.
