Our Story ~ From Nick's Perspective

It all began when my good friends Harrison and Sydney showed me a picture of Ash and said “I think you’d get along really well with this girl!” It turns out that was the understatement of the century. Even though we started off just meeting as friends to longboard down Provo canyon, I knew from the start that I was into her. I mean, have you seen or met her?? How could I not! She greeted me with the biggest, warmest smile and hug and I was instantly in love with her (KIDDING, I wasn’t in love with her…. yet...) Over the next month or so, I loved getting to know her and her awesome group of friends more, but honestly, I just really loved being around Ash. How I got Ash’s number is so funny: one day I needed to Venmo someone in their friend group, but instead of just asking for their contact from Sydney (whose number I already had), I texted Sydney asking for ASH’S number so I could “get the Venmo from Ash.” (I thought I was being so slick). We stayed up texting and laughing until 3 am that night. After hanging out almost every day for 2 months or so, things led to another and I finally ended up asking her out and kissing her. Best day of my life (no that’ll be May 9th!) We started officially dating in October of 2022 and I have learned to love her more and more every day since then. If you know Ash, you know how easy that is. She is vibrant, kind, loyal, caring, brave, passionate, and beautiful inside and out; she is everything I ever hoped to find in a partner since I was a young man. I love her, and I cannot wait to finally be sealed to her for eternity on May 9th!

Our Story ~ From Ash's Perspective

Nick and I met in October of 2022 and became friends instantly. After getting to know each other for a month, Nick asked me out! Our first date was rock climbing, then getting food at Magleby's. It felt like our relationship clicked into place as soon as we started dating; it just felt so natural. We've spent so many days together roller skating, rock climbing, watching movies, making pottery, reading, doing homework... the list can go on forever. Nick is the most kind, loving, and thoughtful guy I've met. I'm grateful every day that we met and that he chose me. I knew I was all in and ready to marry Nick this last Thanksgiving, so we have been planning ever since! Nick proposed in Sundance and completely surprised me (I thought he was going to propose on our California trip over President's Day weekend). He set up a picnic in the snow. Bree, Sydney, Alex, and Issa helped Nick with his master plan. They got me up to Sundance, all dressed up, with my nails done, holding flowers, taking videos and I still had no idea! They had very valid reasons for each part: Bree needed to get her nails done that day and wanted me to come, we were doing a photo shoot with the girls, Issa wanted to make tiktoks of our adventures, and Syd brought flowers from the wedding she worked the night before. It was the best proposal he could have done, for sure. I can't wait to marry Nick and spend our lives together, he is my best friend <3
