Short story: One night at Brother's in December 2013 through friends. Real story: Nick was invited out by a friend who was dating one of Ari's friends and ended up being in the same group at the bar. Later that night, Ari found herself next to Nick at the table and introduced herself. Nick smiled and said hello and we chatted for the rest of the night!

Nick's original plan wasn't able to happen because of the covid lockdowns. Nick decided to creatively propose to Ari at home. That Sunday night, Ari was settling into bed for the night when Nick turned off the lights and the ceiling glowed full of stars and a sweet message. Ari then jumped out of bed to find Nick on one knee!
