I was just about to turn three when my dad dropped me off at preschool, telling me I would come home to a new baby. My moms best friend picked me up, and brought me home to my little sister, Annelise. I was immediately all up in her business, overwhelmed with enthusiasm and so excited to welcome her to this world. I have adored her ever since, and couldn’t be more proud of her. My little sister is the one of the best people I know, and now she is marrying one of the best men I know. I love you Annelise, and honored to call you my sister.

I met annelise in the gym at Hillsboro middle school. We were both trying out for the cheer team and became instant friends. I don’t remember much from this day, but have far too many memories of the days that followed. We were inseparable. She was the type of friend that convinced you that the stupidest, and sometimes dangerous, activities were a good idea. If you know Annelise, I’m sure you can think of your own examples. She pushes you in the best way possible and is supportive through it all. The list of memories we have together goes on and on and I’m so honored to call her my best friend. I love you !!

Nick has been my partner in crime since he was zero years old. He spent the years losing to me in video games, taking notes on my superior baseball throwing motion, and playing pranks on Max. He's my right hand man, my partner in crime and the second-best dancer I know (behind me obviously). Congrats guys!!

I first met Nick back in high school. He lead the way for me as a seasoned veteran of our school’s Youth in Government club while I was just getting started. Since then, we both attended the same school for college, became Resident Assistants in the same year, worked an internship together, and even started jobs at the same company after we graduated! We’ve had many rounds of golf, road trips, football games, state championships, game nights, and even a solar eclipse together over the years. It’s easy to say that I’ve gotten to share my life’s most fun and memorable moments with Nick, so I’m more than excited that I’ll get to share for one of the best moments of his life with him and Annelise!

I met Annelise through Quest! I went to quest not knowing what to expect but little did I know I would gain a lifelong best friend. Annelise is the definition of a true friend. She has impacted many lives (including my own) in the short amount of time that I have known her. I couldn’t imagine a life without Annelise in it… lucky for Nick he gets to see her every day! I met Annelise during our middle school cheerleading tryouts. Since then we have gone from being teammates to friends, to sisters. I cannot wait to stand by her and Nick for this new adventure and hopefully many more to come. Love you guys!!

I first met Nick my junior year of high school when Annelise brought him to my schools musical. I’d heard a lot about Nick from my family but to be honest I really didn’t know what to think of this guy. I’d been told he is one of the smartest people I’d ever talk to, he’s funny, he’s good looking, he gets invited to dinners with Bernie Sanders AND he knows everything there is to know about sports? If half of what I had heard about Nick was true, there was one thing I knew for sure - this is no ordinary man, what we’ve got ourselves here is a unicorn. Nick sounded a little too good to be true at the time but here we are 3 years later and he has lived up to and exceeded all of my hopes of the man I want my sister to marry.

I met Annelise going into her Freshman year of college at an engagement fair for orientation. She came up to the booth I was working for Student Government Association, and we have been best friends ever since. We have been through so much together and I couldn't be happier to get to stand by her side as she marries Nick!

Nick and I first met each other in student government during our freshman year at UTK. From there, it seemed like I couldn’t shake him. Between mutual friends and taking almost all the same classes, I got to really know Nick, and our friendship was born. Now I always look forward to the daily batch of funny videos he sends, our time on the golf course (he always wins), and our catch-ups over barbecue. Many of my favorite memories with Nick have taken place at Tennessee sporting events, and I’m excited for more to come!

I met Annelise tubing. My twin sis and I got invited by a friend to go to the lake and Annelise was also coming. I was nervous because I was new to Walnut Grove Elementary and Annelise was that funny person that EVERYONE knew. Just had to make a good first impression. And the rest is history! She has been my loyal friend since 4th grade to now! Almost 13 years with the brightest light and kindest friendship. I can’t wait to stand by your side like we (probably) talked about in middle school. Cheers to Nick and Annelise!

From spending hours playing Rock Band as the “Cheetah Triplets”, to frying an egg on her mom’s brand new car, we have been best friends since I can remember. I met Nick when we were in high school. Our friendship didn’t take off until senior year but since then we have been brother and sister through it all, we even convinced our residents that we were siblings and they believed us..! One of my favorite oldie memory with Nick is when we drove to our high school football state game and after we won we got apple pies from McDonald’s, from that moment on I knew we were going to be great friends! From roasting marshmallows on the torchbearer, working on the same RA staff, countless beach trips, or spontaneous drives to nowhere I’m so proud to call Nick one of my best friends!

I met Annelise in our small group at Quest freshman year of college. She asked if I’d want to live in the Beach House with her & little did I know I’d gain a place to live and a best friend. I met Nick when I all but forced him to be my friend in 11th grade! We’d been in classes together throughout high school and he genuinely never noticed who I was, but I thought he seemed like such a nice and cool person that I got his phone number from a friend and basically texted him until we were best friends. Seven years later, Nick is always there for me in good times and bad, and I am so honored to be standing next to him as he marries Annelise, who he’s known he would marry since the day they met in July 2018!

I met Nick freshman year in college when we were the only guys in a class where the teacher just couldn’t stand him. We would talk about that teacher and so much more in our RA class, but when we really became close is once we started working together. He fueled my doughnut addiction as long as I would hang out at the desk with him. My best memory is Nick convincing me to leave my exam studying behind to go get guac with him… or at least him bringing it up and my lack of willpower convincing me. We’ve already had plenty of food and beer tours, but I’m always looking forward to the next one!

I first met Nick in high school when we starred in the same musical together. Those magical few months of pouring our hearts and souls into song and dance really showed me the caliber of man he was. Nick gave blood, sweat, and a whole lot of tears into coaching me how to perform at the highest levels, and it's that lifelong mentor mentality that has kept us so close all these years since. I met Nick when we moved in around the corner from each other in 5th grade. We initially became friends through our back-of-the-bus debates about Preds vs Blues hockey, but over the years we’ve attended the same church, joined many of the same clubs, and teamed up for trivia and game nights.

I started off becoming friends with josh due to being the same age and in a lot of the same classes throughout the years. I met nick from various times hanging out and grew closer when nick and I were in the same music theory class in high school. Ever since we have enjoyed disc golfing and continuously making fun of josh!

I met Annelise doing a committee for student government in college, but we got even closer in our Ignite Leadership Program! Annelise is so easy to love and so much fun to be around. I don’t think there’s ever been a moment we aren’t laughing so hard when we’re together! From almost crashing a van to traveling all across Europe, I am so incredibly thankful for my best friend Annelise and so honored to stand with her on her big day!
