Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Shuttles to and from the wedding will be provided, making stops at the hotels where we have room blocks: Park Place Hotel and Hampton Inn Traverse City. You are welcome to utilize the shuttle even if you are not staying at either of these hotels! However, you will be responsible for getting to/from the pickup/dropoff locations. Please note that we do not recommend relying on Uber or Lyft as they are not widely available in the area. Shuttle itineraries and cab information can be found at the top of the "Travel" page

Is there a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We have room blocks at two hotels. See travel page for booking details. Reservations at each require a two night stay (Friday and Saturday night) in order to take advantage of the group rate: 1) Park Place Hotel, located in the heart of downtown Traverse City 2) Hampton Inn Traverse City, located a short drive from city center Airbnb and VRBO are great options in the area as well

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is ample parking on the property in the meadow directly adjacent to the event site. When entering the Estate on Horn Road, take a left at the fork and drive past the tasting room to the top of the hill. You will find open grass there to park. ***Aurora Cellars allows overnight parking***

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal or garden attire. Additionally, the wedding will be predominantly outdoors with a tented space for the reception. Please be mindful of the weather.

What is the venue like?

Answer

Aurora Cellars is a fully operational winery and vineyard with a tasting room and separate wedding venue. The entire event will occur on the property overlooking the vineyard. The ceremony site is located in front of a grand weeping willow tree and the reception will take place under a large, high-peaked tent.

Answer

Please only RSVP for guests listed on your invitation. Additionally, please note that while we love kids the wedding will be an adults-only celebration.
