Angelo planned it out perfectly. It was the last night of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, and our song (New Years Day) was rumored to be one of her surprise songs. So we live-streamed the concert, but both ended up falling asleep. Angelo had an alarm set just in case and woke up in time. However, Nick did not. Angelo tried and tried to wake him up but he wouldn’t budge. So the next morning, Nick and Angelo wake up around 6 AM. Angelo said to Nick “guess what you missed last night?” To which Nick replied “nooooo she did New Year’s Day?!” Then Angelo put the performance on the TV and while Taylor was performing, he said “yeah and you also missed this” and pulls out a wedding ring. Nick was totally shocked. Angelo asked Nick to marry him, and Nick screamed yes and jumped into Angelo’s arms.
