💐Black tie optional See the “Wedding Attire Inspiration” tab on our website for a mood board and inspiration. Color pallet eaxamples: Maroon, plum, wine, and burgundy reds, gold, brown, teal, and shades of green (forest, sage, and earthy tones), along with soft pinks, rose, blush, any neutral, chanpagne, bronze, navy, and copper also complement the castle-like setting beautifully. Berkeley evenings in May can feel like fall, so we recommend bringing a layer for warmth.

Children are welcome at the welcome party, but it will be a party vibe with drinking. Children are also welcome at farewell drinks which is at a chill winery where lots of kids hangout with their parents. The wedding and afterparty are adults-only celebrations. If you need help sourcing childcare that comes highly recommended please email or text Anais 231-736-0105, we want to make sure parents have good coverage so they can enjoy the events.
We’re keeping our wedding very small and intentional— 44 guests—so we’re unable to accommodate additional plus-ones. That said, we promise you won’t feel out of place! Our friends and family are warm, welcoming, and fun. Many new friendships blossomed after our engagement party, and we know the same will happen at the wedding. You’ll have wonderful company, and we’ll have plenty of time to celebrate with you too.
May in Berkeley is typically dry and sunny, with mild temperatures averaging around 69°F during the day and a 3% chance of rain. We enjoy a beautiful Mediterranean climate, perfect for indoor–outdoor celebrations. It can get cold, so dress for fall weather. We recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable throughout the day. Both the welcome party and wedding will have a seamless indoor–outdoor flow—true to the relaxed East Bay lifestyle.
Yes, please RSVP to the welcome party, wedding, and after-party, as each requires accurate catering and drink head counts. That said, if you’re at the wedding and previously RSVP’d “no” to the after-party, you’re still welcome to join! We’ll have a little buffer to accommodate any last-minute changes in plans.

We kindly ask that gifts be shipped to our home or brought to the welcome party, rather than the wedding day itself, as items can easily be lost in the shuffle.
